The People Behind the Vision
Dr. Bassem
Dr. Bassem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Surgery alongside a professional diploma in Quality Management, a combination that shapes everything about how he practices. For two years, he has led MGM’s Health & Wellness department, bringing the same rigor he applies to a patient’s smile to the systems and standards behind every treatment in the clinic.
For Dr. Bassem, patient satisfaction and first impression aren’t secondary considerations: they define the experience from the moment someone sits in the chair. His guiding principle is simple: every patient should leave with complete confidence that they’ve genuinely changed for the better. What sets his approach apart isn’t a single signature technique, but the sheer range of innovative dental and wellness machinery held under one roof, allowing him to move a patient from consultation to full restoration without ever sending them elsewhere.
Dr. Sofia
Dr. Sofia is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over six years of clinical experience across musculoskeletal rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative recovery. Her practice sits at a rare intersection, combining evidence-based physiotherapy with a full range of advanced recovery techniques: manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, dry cupping, moxa therapy, electrotherapy, therapeutic massage, and postural assessment and correction.
She believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening: every patient carries a unique story, lifestyle, and set of goals, and her role is to understand what matters most to them before designing a path forward. Every session opens with a comprehensive assessment, looking past the symptom to the underlying cause affecting movement and wellbeing. Rather than treating pain in isolation, Dr. Sofia builds comprehensive strategies that address the body as a whole, integrating Eastern recovery techniques with Western clinical rigor, so patients recover more efficiently and with a lower likelihood of the injury returning. True healing, in her practice, means restoring not just movement, but confidence, balance, and quality of life.
Dr. Kareem
Dr. Kareem is a General Practitioner with a clinical focus on preventive medicine, primary healthcare, and wellness medicine, built around early disease detection, thorough patient assessment, lifestyle medicine, and personalized wellness planning. At MGM Wellness Clinic, he leads medical consultations and health assessments, ensuring every therapy a patient pursues is medically appropriate for their individual health picture.
His philosophy is to treat the whole person, not just the symptom: every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and genuinely involved in their own treatment decisions. Building trust and prioritizing prevention are, in his view, inseparable from good medicine. What distinguishes his approach is the integration of clinical assessment with a holistic wellness lens, identifying the lifestyle factors quietly shaping a patient’s health, not just diagnosing what’s already gone wrong. His greatest reward is watching patients regain confidence in their health and step back into their lives with more energy and clarity.
Sara
Sara is a Registered Nurse holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Aswan University, with five years of combined academic training and hands-on clinical experience spanning nursing and medical aesthetics. Across her career, she has supported physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based practice, experience that now shapes every aesthetic treatment she delivers at MGM.
She has received specialized training in HydraFacial, performing every treatment according to established clinical protocol and tailored to each patient’s individual skin condition and goals. Her guiding belief is that every patient deserves compassionate, respectful, and individualized care, trust built through clear communication, in a space where every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident. What distinguishes her practice is the integration of genuine nursing expertise with advanced non-invasive aesthetic technology, delivering results that are as safe as they are visible.
Dr. Maria
Dr. Maria completed her Clinical Nutrition training at FPI Academy under the supervision of Dr. Yehia, covering comprehensive nutritional assessment based on medical condition, lifestyle, occupation, and laboratory investigations, alongside individualized treatment planning and structured patient follow-up. She furthered her training with an online Clinical Nutrition course under Dr. Samar Hamdon, focused on the practical, patient-centered application of therapeutic nutrition.
At MGM, she designs personalized nutrition and exercise programs shaped around each patient’s age, medical condition, daily routine, and health goals: practical, sustainable meal plans built from foods patients already have access to, not restrictive diets requiring separate shopping lists. Her core philosophy is that consistency outweighs perfection: patients are never made to feel guilty for an off day, only supported back onto their path. She monitors progress through regular follow-up, including body composition analysis, exercise tolerance, and functional improvement in daily life, tracking success not just on a scale, but in how patients actually feel, move, and live. She takes particular pride in outcomes like patients with osteoarthritis regaining the ability to climb stairs pain-free, and patients with type 2 diabetes achieving meaningfully better glucose control through nutrition alone.
Mr. Farid Cortez
Farid Cortez Rengifo is a certified Sound Healer with seven years of practice, trained at the Satyam Shivan Sundram Sound Healing School in Goa, India. At MGM he serves as Wellness Community Manager and leads the Holistic Wellbeing services across the menu: beginners and mindfulness meditation, Power, Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga, and sound healing journeys. He is also the creative lead behind the MGM Road Show visual identity.
He uses breath, movement and frequency together rather than as separate modalities, treating each format as a different doorway to the same clinical outcome: guiding a guest out of a dysregulated state into one the body can actually rest in. His stated belief is that healing is not something delivered to a guest, it is something the practitioner creates the conditions for, since the body already holds the intelligence to restore itself. The shift he takes most pride in is the move from survival mode into serenity and focus, from a nervous system stuck in defense to one that feels safe, spacious and clear. What sets the practice apart is ancestral sound tradition combined with modern technique and applied with clinical discipline, a deliberate and repeatable protocol rather than a loose wellness gesture.
Dr. Mostafa El-Naggar
Dr. Mostafa El-Naggar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and practices at MGM as a Clinical Nutrition Consultant, serving as the clinic’s nutritionist. His approach is deliberately systematic: rather than centering treatment on a patient’s individual lifestyle preferences, he applies the evidence-based, highly structured protocols of a medical facility, acting as a precise practitioner executing standardized, data-driven nutritional therapies aimed at specific medical outcomes.
He takes the most pride in prescribing targeted dietary strategies that address the underlying cause of a health condition, not just its symptoms, while boosting cellular energy and restoring the body’s natural balance. His use of the clinic’s nutrition technology is applied with precision, calibrated exactly to each guest’s individual nutritional aim rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Dr. Omar
Dr. Omar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and practices at MGM across dermatology and aesthetic medicine, leading the clinic’s injectable and regenerative treatments. His clinical position is that skin is not an isolated organ, it is a visible readout of what is happening metabolically, immunologically and psychologically beneath it. Treatment begins there rather than at the surface.
Where conventional dermatology moves directly from disease to treatment, his practice works from an integrative, whole-person model that reads lifestyle, emotional load and internal health alongside the presenting condition. What distinguishes the approach is the depth of diagnostics behind it: advanced inflammatory biomarkers, comprehensive gut microbiome panels, food sensitivity profiles and salivary cortisol curves, used to identify the systemic triggers behind recurring flares. The outcome he takes most pride in is resolving the cause of a skin disorder rather than masking its symptoms, with aesthetic work layered onto a foundation that has already been corrected.
N. Walid
N. Walid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and works at the point where conventional clinical medicine meets holistic health, using a hospital-trained clinical background to guide guests safely through nutrient injection therapy and structured lifestyle intervention. Every protocol is delivered to clinical standards of screening, dosing and sterility, never as a wellness add-on.
The guiding philosophy is holistic advocacy rather than directive authority, a collaborative guide who honors the guest’s autonomy and values instead of issuing instructions. That draws in equal measure on biomedical adherence science and behavioral psychology, because a protocol a guest does not sustain is not a protocol. The distinction drawn here is between crisis stabilization and health optimization, and this practice sits firmly in the second: examining functional biology, reversing the early stages of chronic illness, and moving guests toward peak vitality rather than back to baseline.
PT. Tarek
PT. Tarek is a Physical Education graduate practicing at MGM across clinical exercise physiology, rehabilitation support and wellness coaching. His work spans both ends of the physical spectrum, from functional assessment and personal training through to reduced-gravity treadmill work, aquatic conditioning and controlled cold exposure, programmed around what a body can safely tolerate rather than what it can be pushed to do in a single session.
The approach is preventive rather than corrective. Sessions are built around lifestyle counseling, physical conditioning and stress management, with the explicit aim of preventing the complications that would otherwise arrive years later, and the result he takes most pride in is behavioral change that holds once a guest has gone home. What separates the work from commercial personal training is the clinical frame around it: he operates under medical supervision, works within electronic health records, and accepts direct referrals from physicians and physiotherapists, so every training decision is made with the guest’s full medical picture in view.
Dr. May Refaat
Dr. May Refaat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and leads MGM’s psychological support services, working across daily patient care, structured behavioral programs including ABA-based plans, clinical observation and the coordination of continuity-of-care services around each guest.
Her working principle is that the guest, not the practitioner, is the expert on their own life, which turns the traditional doctor and patient dynamic into an egalitarian partnership set in a hospitable rather than institutional environment. The shift she takes most pride in is one of purpose: moving beyond treating mental illness once it presents, toward actively optimizing the connection between mind, body and lifestyle. What distinguishes the practice is that the environment is treated as part of the intervention itself. The MGM psychology space is designed to lower a guest’s baseline nervous system arousal before the session begins, so the clinical hour starts from a regulated state instead of spending itself getting there.
Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud
Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and serves as a Senior Consultant Medical Surgeon, with additional responsibility for Quality Control Management at the Aswan station. At MGM Wellness Clinic, he holds the role of Clinic Medical Director, overseeing the clinical and operational integrity of the entire facility.
His stated priorities are clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and the overall strategic health of the medical facility. He describes his purpose as bridging the gap between medical science and organizational leadership, ensuring MGM operates as a safe, high-performing, and ethically sound institution at every level.
Dr. Gamal
Dr. Gamal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a Co-Founder of MGM, and his role reflects that origin, shaping the philosophy and structure of the clinic rather than a single clinical specialty.
His stated philosophy is that the clinic empowers patients through compassionate listening, collaborative decision-making, and personalized, holistic care that respects the unique needs of every individual served. Building MGM as a patient-centered practice was, in his words, about fixing systematic flaws in traditional medicine, moving away from transaction-based care toward relationship-based health, a shift he notes co-founders typically risk their own capital and careers to build. What he believes sets MGM apart is deliberate: every doctor at the clinic was chosen not only for medical expertise, but for hospitality instincts, blending hospitality and medical backgrounds under one umbrella.
